SPACE Transports Rutland with New Rotation
RUTLAND, VT- On Friday, July 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, SPACE Pop Up Art Gallery will host the second reception at its 116 Merchants Row location.
Your body and mind will surely be transported to new and exciting places after walking through SPACE Pop Up Art Gallery’s interactive second installation. Boasting a wide variety of art produced by local artists, SPACE’s theme of “Transportation” will leave your senses tingling with feelings of adventure.
At the opening reception, gallery-goers will enjoy live music by David Burns, story-telling by local rumpus performers, free food, and a variety of locally-produced art.
In addition to the opening reception, SPACE will be selling raffle tickets for one lucky winner to walk away with “Osprey,” an original photography print by the Ambassador to Rutland himself, Steve Costello. The raffle will last the month of July, with the winner to be announced on August 4th at the gallery’s closing. For more information on the raffle or to purchase tickets, inquire within the gallery or contact Maggie Lambert at NeighborWorks of Western Vermont.
SPACE is curated by AmeriCorps members Maggie Lambert, Liam Fagan, and Bianca Zanella in partnership with Green Mountain Power, MKF Properties, Green Screen Graphics, NeighborWorks of Western Vermont, and Chaffee Art Center.
Bring your friends and family to the gallery this Friday night to enjoy Rutland’s only pop up art gallery, after enjoying the established Castleton University Bank Gallery opening reception earlier that evening!
This is a completely free and family friendly event.
